    Russell Hawer

Russell qualified from University College Osteopathy (formerly known as the British School of Osteopathy) having previously worked in financial services for over two decades. Although no longer registered with the General Osteopathic Council, he continues to use same treatment approach and experience gained over 20 years as an Osteopath.

He has experienced at first hand the rigors of daily city commuting, international travel, tough deadlines, long hours, office politics and prolonged sitting at desks and in meetings. This has provided him with an insight into the lifestyle sacrifices and health costs that ensue.

Whilst working in New York, a life threatening accident catalysed a decision to pack it all in and follow a long held dream to become an osteopath.

Russell favours a structural approach, using soft tissue, articulation and manipulation techniques.  He also has a keen interest in the management of lifestyle influences that can play a significant role in achieving optimum health.
